Private WeHo Social Club, Known for High-Profile Members, to Open Santa Monica Location

The New Location Will Feature an Indoor Restaurant With Ocean Views, a 50-Seat Screening Room, Event Spaces, a Billiards Room, and a 5,000-Square-Foot Rooftop Deck

The exclusive San Vicente Bungalows, known for its high-profile members and stringent privacy measures, is expanding its presence with a new location in Santa Monica. This marks the latest move by hotelier Jeff Klein, who continues to cater to Hollywood’s elite with spaces that prioritize discretion and luxury.

The new Santa Monica venue will be located at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard, occupying the top floor and rooftop of an office building. This location will feature an array of amenities, including an indoor restaurant with ocean views, a 50-seat screening room, a living room, event spaces, a discotheque, a billiards room, and two bars. Additionally, a 5,000-square-foot rooftop deck with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean will serve as a key attraction, according to the club’s website.

Designer Lisa Koch has been commissioned to create the interiors.

This expansion follows the success of the original San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood. The West Hollywood club quickly became a haven for celebrities seeking refuge from the public eye, where strict no-phone policies are enforced to ensure the privacy of its members. As reported by The New York Times, Klein’s vision for the club was born out of a desire to provide a space where Hollywood’s most recognizable figures could enjoy a semblance of normalcy, away from the prying eyes of paparazzi and fans.

The Santa Monica club is part of a broader expansion strategy that includes new locations in the West Village, New York, and ongoing renovations at the original West Hollywood site. The West Village location, set to open in the historic Jane Hotel, will feature interiors by British designer Rose Uniacke and will offer similar exclusive amenities, including multiple dining spaces, a discotheque, and a lush rooftop garden overlooking the Hudson River, as detailed by WeHo Times.

Current San Vicente members will enjoy complimentary access to the new locations during their first year of operation, with the option to join a global membership program for additional fees afterward. Membership at San Vicente Bungalows remains highly selective, requiring nominations and approval by a membership committee.
