A holiday giveaway is set for Sunday at the Oakwood Recreation Center in Venice, offering toys, food, and other essentials to local families.
The event is scheduled for Dec. 7 from noon to 3 p.m. at 767 California Ave. Organizers say the giveaway will include free toys, a petting zoo, holiday foods, diapers, dog and cat food, and a raffle for Dodger bobbleheads.
The event is billed as an effort to bring “joy for all” ahead of the holiday season and is being held in partnership with local nonprofits, community groups, and businesses.
