A hands-on baking class focused on traditional Passover desserts is scheduled for Sunday at The Gourmandise School.
The class, set for March 29 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., will give participants the opportunity to prepare a range of holiday dishes ahead of Passover, which begins in April.
According to organizers, the session will cover several classic recipes, including matzah-based fritters known as pizzarelle al miele, popover-style rolls, chocolate chip cookies adapted for Passover dietary restrictions, and almond cookies.
Participants will work in pairs during the class and will be able to take home the items they prepare. The class is open to individuals ages 16 and older, with younger attendees allowed if accompanied by a registered adult.
