Red Cross Hosts Free Flu Shots:

The Santa Monica Chapter of the American Red Cross will be hosting one of the Los Angeles County Public Health free flu shot clinics again this year.

Flu shots will be given out from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Thursday, November 20, at the Santa Monica Red Cross chapter, 1450 11th Street (near Broadway).

If you are pregnant, a health care worker, nursing home or chronic-care facility resident, over 50-years of age, and/or have a chronic condition such as asthma, heart disease, kidney disorder, or diabetes, you are eligible for the free flu shot. If you are allergic to eggs or have any other serious illness, consult with your doctor before obtaining any flu shots.

The free flu shots are made possible through Los Angeles County Public Health and the American Red Cross of Santa Monica. Limited free parking is available.
