The increase in the number of people living in poverty in the last four years in the richest and most powerful nation on earth, the ballooning deficit, and the inability of the richest and most powerful nation on earth to end the war it began in Iraq are proofs of the Bush Jr. administration’s incompetence on both the domestic and foreign fronts.
And, in the wake of Hurricane Katrrina, the near-total destruction of New Orleans, the Gulf coast, and the Bush Jr. administration’s failure to respond for days, we now have horrifying and tragic proof that it is incapable of responding to emergencies.
As it turns out, the only thing the Bush Jr. administration has ever been good at is hype, and now even the hype isn’t working.Watch out!
