Ocean Park Boulevard Bike Lanes Welcome: Letter To The Editor:

Dear Editor,

I just wanted to give my public thanks to the City of Santa Monica for their continued effort to make life safer for all its bicyclists. 14th Street and Ocean Park Blvd. bike lanes have been completed and are very welcome. Where cars park along the curb the bike lane has been made wide enough that, if someone suddenly opening their car door, it won’t send you sprawling on the pavement as long as you’re riding toward the outside of the bike lane.

Thanks and all of us bike riders look forward to more of the same in the future.
