Charles Gordon, one of the stars of Santa Monica High’s 2001 CIF championship team, completed his four-year career at Kansas by catching six passes for 86 yards in a 42-13 win over Houston in the Fort Worth Bowl, Gordon also was a premier defensive back for the Jayhawks.
