Reading Writing It’s Exciting program

Toss the kids in the Volvo and head on down to Third Street to enjoy this good-time outing, which seems to grow ever more popular each time out. Support the students of Castle Heights Elementary School as they perform short stories and poems they have written before an always-appreciative crowd. The event will also feature a book fair and is devised to pique the interest of young ones, all the while putting a smile on their faces.

Topanga Days Music Festival, May 26-28, 11am-6pm

This Memorial Day Weekend promises to be a fun-filled one as musical performers such as Veruca Salt, John Doe, Chevy Metal, Young Dubliners and many more make their way to the Topanga Music Festival. Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains, equidistant to PCH and Ventura Boulevard, the Festival is always a wild and joyous celebration as flower children from near and far unite in the name of both dance and hemp. Additionally, be sure to check out the County Fair, which takes place on the same grounds.
