Formed in 1962 by brothers Doug and Rodney Dillard, this Missouri-based outfit’s influence on country rock has been sorely understated. They’ve collaborated with artists such as Gene Clark, Glen Campbell and Tut Taylor. 1968’s Wheatstraw is widely regarded as their flagship release and credited with influencing countless artists.
