Having first picked up the guitar at the age of five, Jason Vieaux says that he has continued with classical guitar throughout the years because of “the challenge” of it. At his performance at LMU’s Murphy Recital Hall, the head of the guitar department at the Cleveland Institute of Music will continue to challenge both himself and his audience with an outstanding program. Included in this performance will be selections from jazz guitarist Pat Metheny along with guitar transcriptions of pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach and Isaac Albeniz.

Son of the legendary Bob, Stephen Marley has been working in the family business of making reggae music for decades. A former member of the Melody Makers, where he played with brother Ziggy and sisters Cedella and Sharon, Stephen has gone on to work as a solo artist and producer. Most notably, he produced brother Damian’s 2005 hit record Welcome to Jamrock. Supporting Stephen Marley will be Channel Rock Movement and DJ What.
