Clippers Serve Local Community:

For the 19th year, the Los Angeles Clippers have hosted the “Teamwork at the Table” Thanksgiving event at St. Joseph Center’s Bread and Roses Café at 663 Rose Avenue in Venice.

Players, coach Mike Dunleavy along with his assistant coaches, and members of the Clippers front office all served local homeless residents plates filled with Thanksgiving food and later distributed turkeys at St. Joseph headquarters at 4th Street and Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica. Eleven-year-old Hunter Howard participated for the fourth time. Howard is the son of a Clipper Vice President.

St. Joseph Center Executive Director Rhonda Meister said, “The Clippers organization has been our biggest Thanksgiving partner for years.”
