Kunnu Shofu, the 6-foot-6 senior center on Santa Monica High’s basketball team, has been chosen the Ocean League’s Most Outstanding Player.The honor means Shofu has been recognized as the second best player among the league’s six teams. A player from Inglewood High was named Most Valuable.Shofu was instrumental in Samohi’s march to a CIF Playoff semi-final berth, especially with his rebounding and shot-blocking.
