Man Steals Crab Leg, Hits Staff With It: Alert Police Blotter: He Didn’t Have A Leg To Stand On!

On Friday, Jan. 14. at 5:51 p.m. officers went to the Enterprise Fish Company, located at 100 Kinney Street, in response to a report of a stolen crab leg. Upon arrival at the restaurant, the officers heard from the staff that the suspect had been coming to the business on a daily basis and harassing the customers.

On this day, however, the suspect had taken a fresh approach, gone out on a limb, and stolen a crab leg from the buffet. When the staff confronted the suspect, he hit a staff member with the crab leg. The suspect then fled the location. Officers went in search of, discovered, and netted this seafood pirate a short distance away. This 63-year-old Inglewood man was charged with theft, and a probation violation. His bail was set at $20,000.
