The New World F.E.S.T. kicks off today through Sunday where attendees can gather, have fun, and learn about our “new world” at Santa Monica Beach and how to protect it by ensuring the community works together toward a “smart future.”
This is an event for people who care, and for people who want to care even more and do more. It’s also an event for anyone who values the combination of learning and having fun.
There will be 150 cool exhibits and six stages, with live music, keynote speakers, live demos, newfangled gadgetry, prototypes, cool exhibits, healthy food demos by top chefs, eco-friendly products and more.
The hours are: Friday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission for adults $12; Children 14 and under are $8 each.
The event will be held on the 2600 block of Barnard Way.
