SMC Musical Theatre Workshops Presents ‘The House Upon The Hill’ This Weekend:

With a touch of Halloween at Christmastime, the Santa Monica College Musical Theatre Workshop presents “The House Upon the Hill,” a haunting selection from some of Broadway’s most infamous musicals.

Among the shows that will be represented are The Rocky Horror Show, Wicked and Sweeney Todd.

The SMC Musical Theatre Workshop performances are scheduled at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 in the Theatre Arts Studio Stage, located on the SMC main campus at 1900 Pico Blvd. Tickets are $10, plus a $1 service fee.

The workshop, a co-production of the SMC Theatre Arts and Music departments, is directed by theatre arts professor Terrin Adair and Gary Gray, music director.
