What’s Hot: SMC’S Independence Day Celebration This Saturday:

Spectacular fireworks will be held at 9 p.m. to salute America at Santa Monica College this Saturday

Santa Monica College’s Independence Day Celebration is the biggest free, most sensational patriotic community event on the Westside, which will take place this Saturday, June 30.

Bring your family and friends to SMC from 5 p.m. onwards for a star-spangled salute to our nation’s independence.

Come early, picnic on the lawn, enjoy continuous entertainment and special exhibits (with plenty of refreshments available for purchase), and cap off the evening with a spectacular fireworks at 9 p.m. to salute America.

Parking lots will open at 4 p.m. and parking costs $5.

The entertainment will start at 7 p.m. and the parking lots close at 8:45 p.m.
