Scare Your Pants Off At Paranoia Mazes In Santa Monica:

Halloween may be a month away, but Santa Monica Place will open three haunted mazes at its brand new attraction called Paranoia tonight.

The un-dead will possess the terror filled mazes for 21 nights Thursdays through Sundays until Oct. 31.

Organizers say there is no place to run from the psychotic doctors and nurses in “The Infirmary,” the insane sleepless clowns in “Insomniac Clown Playhouse,” or granny and her restless relatives in the “Manor of Mayhem.”

Terrifying mazes, monsters, and bloodcurdling thrills will consume 50,000-square feet of horrifying space on the third level of Santa Monica Place.

The attraction is a partnership between Deep Lifestyle Group and Santa Monica Place with the twisted creations of Shipwreck at the Queen Mary consultant and Hollywood set designer, Matthew Gavin as well as 20-year haunt expert, Denise Larson.

“Santa Monica Place is thrilled to be the home for Paranoia,” said Julia Ladd, senior property manager for Santa Monica Place.

“This attraction, paired with our retail and food and beverage offerings, makes Santa Monica

Place an ideal destination for visitors and residents alike.”

Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce CEO Laurel Rosen said she was delighted Paranoia was

here in Santa Monica.

“This attraction is great for businesses in our area and helps further establish Santa Monica as a distinct beachfront destination,” Rosen said.

Paranoia opens at 7 p.m. during is 21-night run.

Online pre-sale tickets are available for $24 for General Admission and $39 for a “VIP Fast Pass” for hardcore fans of horror.
