Fireside At The Miles Presents A Capella Night With Frequency, Level, And Veritas:

Fireside at the Miles will present “A Capella Night” featuring artists Frequency, Level, and Veritas tonight, Jan. 12.

It will be hosted by Los Angeles native Joshua Reuben Silverstein who is an actor, writer, beatboxer, host, youth mentor, and educator.

It will be held at the Miles Memorial Playhouse, 1130 Lincoln Blvd, Santa Monica.

Frequency is a seven-member all-vocal band located in Orange County, California and focused on the great pop-rock songs of the 70 to today. They pride themselves on bringing the passion and energy to the music that comes straight from the human voice — the most versatile instrument ever created.

With a distinct pop/jazz style and a roster of world class vocalists, Level has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most unique a cappella groups in the Los Angeles area. The group was formed in early 2012 by alumni of NBC’s “The Sing-Off,” and the current group features members from each season of the show. Now as the group nears the end of its first year together, the goal of Level remains simple: to creative distinctive, exciting music, and to have a great time doing it.

L.A.’s hot new seven member a cappella vocal band call Veritas is here to entertain. Veritas covers all styles of music, with a strong Indie pop/rock foundation. Formed late 2011 and based here in Los Angeles, Veritas will not only give you vivacious vocal solos, but your ears will be treated to a veritable variety of drums, electric guitars, trumpets, and a booming bass that will rattle the floorboards. This eclectic group of dynamic vocalists delivers a spectacular show you’ll have to experience first-hand.

As with all evening Fireside performances, doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the performance begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for youth/seniors and $10 for adults.

For reservations, call 310.458.8634, email milesplayhouse@smgov.net, or visit fireside.milesplayhouse.org.
