Santa Monica Boys & Girls Club Members Receive Bikes At Giveaway:

The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Monica organized a bike-build and giveaway for Club kids on May 20.

Sponsored by Haworth and Helen’s Cycles, volunteers from the Santa Monica Police Department to the Southern California Development Forum spent their day assembling bikes and providing safety tips to the children.

Organizers says the event generated the kind of spirit that makes Santa Monica such a special place to live — thanking SCDF’s Walt Cousineau from Haworth for putting out the call to SCDF volunteers.
