Presented by a consortium of local charitable and service oriented organizations, this year’s event features the unveiling of conceptual plans for a Commemorative Wall honoring Santa Monica veterans.

He joined the United States Army in 1969 in the unit designated 200th/201st Special Operations Detachment, Army Security Agency. He received “top secret” security clearance and held the rank of Staff Sergeant when he was honorably discharged in 1975. He states that the “high point of his career was becoming a Paratrooper”.
Parking for this event will be available directly across the street from the cemetery in the Santa Monica College parking structure located at 1900 Pico Boulevard (16th Street and Pico Boulevard). Shuttle service between the parking structure and the cemetery will be available.
