The Third Annual Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival returns this Thursday through Sunday with a handful of culinary events across Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and downtown Los Angeles.
“Tacos & Tequila” is set for Friday, Aug. 23 from 3-5 pm at The Bungalow Santa Monica (part of the Fairmont Miramar Hotel).
For $75 per person, attendees can sample one-of-a-kind gourmet creations, discover new and unique wines, and learn about the latest culinary trends.
The cuisine will be created by host chef Ray Garcia (FIG Restaurant) and guest chefs Josef Centeno (Bäco Mercat/ Bar Ama) and Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill/Red O). Their dishes will be paired with tequilas from Patron.
The Fairmont Miramar Hotel is located at 101 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica.
Earlier in the day on Friday, a select group of diners will experience lunch at One Pico inside Shutters on the Beach with special guest chefs Peter Armellino of The Plumed Horse, and Matthew Accarrino of SPQR, hosted by Chef Sven Mede of One Pico.
Lunch at One Pico will be held from 12-2:30 pm featuring a reception with passed hors d’oeuvres and bubbly, followed by a four-course meal with hand-selected, artisanal wines. The price is $125 per person.
