Santa Monica Fire Injures Five People:

A fire on the 1000 block of Montana Avenue in Santa Monica has reportedly left five people injured at about 3:30 pm Sunday. One of those injuries was serious, according to news reports.

Three of the five injured were police officers and reportedly suffered from smoke inhalation.

The fourth victim was an 89-year-old man, who, according to reports, suffered the most serious injury. Details of the injury were not released.

There was also a fifth victim, though the identity of that person was not released.
