Folkworks Benefit Concert Returns To Santa Monica This Saturday Night:

Singer/songwriter Tracy Newman will host the Folkworks Annual Benefit Concert this Saturday.

The Folkworks Annual Benefit Concert will be held this Saturday, April 26 at the Santa Monica Woman’s Club starting with a reception at 7 pm.

The concert begins at 8 pm featuring Irish, Georgian, Swing, Balkan, Russian, Jazz, American Traditional, Hillbilly Blues and then some.

Hosted by brilliant singer/songwriter Tracy Newman, the evening will also include dancing in the aisles, light refreshments and an opportunity to support FolkWorks — the source for folk/trad/roots music, dance, storytelling and other related folk arts in the greater Los Angeles area.

FolkWorks on-line publications include calendar listings of events in the greater Los Angeles area, interesting articles, CD reviews, videos and much more. 

In addition, the FolkWorks organization sponsors live performances throughout each year, giving many musicians the opportunity to reach new audiences. 

General tickets are $20, VIP reserved tickets are $25.
