FIG Restaurant Now Open Nightly At Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows:

Happy hour just became a little happier in Santa Monica as FIG Restaurant, the seasonal bistro located inside the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, opens its doors seven nights a week.

FIG Restaurant now offers locals and hotel guests its seasonally inspired cuisine by Executive Chef Yousef Ghalaini nightly. And yes, the ever so popular “FIG at 5” (everything half off the entire menu from 5 pm to 6 pm) is available seven nights a week too.

Guests can enjoy dishes such as steamed manila clams with vadouvan potato puree, and fresh bucatini pasta with heirloom eggplant, asparagus, sundried tomato, and pecorino.

As a proud supporter of local farms, Chef Yousef works with local growers to find the freshest ingredients.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to bring our loyal friends of FIG uncomplicated and unique tastes every night of the week,” said Chef Yousef. “We’ve seen a demand for an inviting casual neighborhood restaurant that is comfortable for a Sunday or Monday family dinner – FIG is the perfect place for that.”

Along with the seasonal Mediterranean inspired cuisine, guests can enjoy a variety of domestic and international cheeses sources specifically by the restaurant’s very own fromager (aka cheese guru), Eric Brazel.

Brazel, who has a special feature on the menu known as Eric’s Stash, works behind the restaurant’s own cheese bar and pairs charcuterie and cheese boards specific to guests preference.

There is never a dull moment with Brazel as he shares his enthusiastic knowledge about the cheeses and the way they are made.

The cheese bar is the ideal spot for an interactive and informative dinner date night.

Visit Eric Tuesday through Sunday nights. For more information or for reservations call 310.319.3111 or visit www.figsantamonica.com. Follow FIG Restaurant on social media @figsantamonica or Eric Brazel @ericsstash.

FIG Restaurant is located at 101 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica.
