Show Up Fitness To Host Its Free Monthly Talk Tonight To Dispel Training Myths:

Show Up Fitness in Santa Monica is different from all other personal training companies.

What makes them stand out is the fact that their trainers all educated and understand the human body.

The average personal trainer takes a weekend course and considers themself a “professional.”

Hitchko challenges this by asking “how can you consider yourself a professional if you’re not equipped with basic anatomy?”

The goal of Show Up Fitness is to redefine the fitness industry, and they’re doing it one educated trainer at a time.

“Unfortunately the average Joe and Jane get their information from media and celebrity trainers,” Hitchko said. “Most of this information is cherry picked, and anecdotal, it worked for the trainer, therefore it’ll work for everyone. Exercise, movement, and nutrition is very scientific. All of our trainers at Show Up have at least six months of education on top of the many years of experience.”

One special way that Show Up Fitness stands out is through ChrisTalks. These are once-a-month talks from the creator of Show Up Fitness, Chris Hitchko.

“My once a month talks allow for proper promotion and bigger crowds,” Hitchko explains. “ChrisTalks are generated from specific questions clients ask throughout their training process with show up. There are a lot of misconceptions, it’s my job to dispel them. The next will be Thursday October 29 at 6 pm, beverages and food will be provided-costumes suggested!”

Hitchko knows he’s doing an amazing job when his clients surprise him with gifts.

“We’re a premium Private personal training company. When you think about it, when a client goes out of their way to get you a gift because you’ve made a significant impact on their life, it really hits home how much we can help people,” he said.

Hitchko makes an effort to be transparent and honest with clients to create a bond. He also understands that being demeaning or yelling at clients is not the way to help a client succeed.

Therefore, being rewarded is a reminder of how Hitchko benefits others. In order to benefit the most from personal trainers, Hitchko states: “It all starts by showing up and winning the week. Each month we recognize a client as te client of the month, who’s achieved the best results by lifting weights at least four days a week aka winning the week!”

“I’d love for more people to know about Show Up Fitness, but that’s a work in progress,”  Hitchko says of what he’d like to change. “Our industry is full of misconceptions, and in my opinion, extremely toxic due to the lack of regulation. It’s up to Show Up Fitness to educate the community with scientific information and then they can do with it what they please. From my ten years of experience, it’s no surprise that the clients that Show Up consistently, have achieved the best results.”

Show Up Fitness is located at 1207 4th Street Suite 150, Santa Monica.
