On Friday, August 5, at 10:52 p.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department rushed to investigate a report of an attempted residential burglary in the 1100 block of 24th Street. The officers learned that the reporting party had spotted the suspected burglar attempting to “jimmy” open the rear door of a nearby residence and that the reporting party had confronted the suspect about what he was doing.

I probably spend about half an hour a day reading and commenting on Facebook. As I understand it, that’s not a serious FB “habit,” although that would add up to three and half hours a week I could easily spend on other things.
