Santa Monica Police Department to Host Alcohol Service Training:

The Santa Monica Police Department and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) will offer a second Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training to help employees of clubs, bars, restaurants and liquor stores in Santa Monica sell and serve alcohol responsibly.

The training will be held Tuesday, April 5 at Santa Monica Civic Auditorium from 12pm-4pm and registration is available at the door.

SMC Employees to Picket SMC Board of Trustees Meeting Tomorrow:

California Schools Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter 36 has announced that its members will be picketing prior to the monthly meeting of the Santa Monica Community College District Board of Trustees on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in support of a 3% wage increase for the bargaining unit.
