The Santa Monica Police Department in partnership with the Santa Monica - Malibu Unified School District will join other schools from around the country to celebrate National Walk to School Day.

On September 20, 2017, Culver City will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of its incorporation as a city in Los Angeles County. In commemoration of this event, the city will be hosting events throughout the year, which it kicked off with a Centennial Celebration parade.

On Tuesday, September 20, at 1:25 p.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department received a call via their police radios informing them that a possible theft suspect was, at that time, involved in physical conflict with some of the employees of The Bike Center, located at 1555 Second St., so the officers rushed to the location to investigate.
Con Gioia Early Music Ensemble, directed by Preethi de Silva, will present, “A Classical Viennese Soirée,” at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 985 Lincoln Blvd., in Santa Monica on Sunday, October 23.
