Palisades Quarterback Transfers To Serra:

Conner Preston, who excelled as the Palisades High quarterback last season, has transferred to Serra High in Gardena.

Preston has been playing with the Serra team in summer passing league games. In one he threw for 489 yards

Transferring is part of a growing trend in Southern California high school athletics, where players shift to a higher profile team with more skilled players. Serra is regarded as a powerhouse for the coming season and college scouts will follow the team to see Robert Woods, one of the highest rated players in the nation.
