LA Home Show Relocates to Santa Monica:

After 35 years at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the Home Remodeling and Decorating Show will be taking up new quarters at the Santa Monica Civic Center the weekends of March 5-6 and June 25-26.

“We look forward to being a part of the Santa Monica and Westside community,” said Sylvia Andersen, producer of the Home Show. “All city employees of Santa Monica and their family members will be offered free admission to our shows.”

The oldest and largest continually running home show in Southern California is this year emphasizing “Green Products” and special workshops on “Greening your Home One Step at a Time.” There are also a number of do-it-yourself workshops, cooking demonstrations, gardening tips offered by radio and TV master gardner Nick Federoff and Feng Shui techniques for the home from author and design professional P.K. Odie.

The Annual Home Remodeling & Decorating Show is sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, KOST, KFWB and KNX Radio, and produced by the N.E.C. Group, Inc. It is the only home show exclusively endorsed and approved by The League of California Homeowners.

Special features also include the World of Kitchens, the Dream Backyard – spas, decks, gazebos, barbecues, and more.

Hundreds of home improvement exhibitors and thousands of new products, services and ideas. Kitchens, floors, windows, doors – everything from roofs to rose gardens.
