Santa Monica-based Direct Response Marketing Agencies, Media Design Group, and Revenue Frontier are co-sponsoring a “White Christmas” for the children and families of the Upward Bound House Family Shelter in Culver City. The event will take place this Thursday, Dec. 13 at the Upward Bound House Shelter in Culver City.
“This year, we wanted to do something different with our company,” said Stacy Durand, president of Revenue Frontier and Media Design Group. “Instead of having an end of the year holiday blowout party, we felt that it was important to share and give something back. We are excited to team up with Upward Bound House, a fantastic organization that is really making a difference in our community.”
The two companies will be bringing in more than 15 tons of snow to build a winter wonderland at the shelter, complete with music, food courtesy of Huckleberry, arts n’ crafts and a cameo from Santa Claus himself.
Living in Los Angeles, snow is not something that these families would get to see under normal circumstances, but the two media agencies are changing all of that, giving these families their own private winter wonderland.
According to recent data, more than 6,000 children are homeless on any given night in Los Angeles.
The holidays are an especially difficult time for families who are homeless, and with the support of Media Design Group and Revenue Frontier, this year will prove to be extra special for all of the children and families at Upward Bound House.
