Falling Rocks Strike Vehicle In Malibu On Topanga Canyon Boulevard:

Falling rocks struck a vehicle in Malibu today, causing no injuries but prompting a city official to warn motorists of the potential danger from storm-related hillside debris.

Rocks fell on a car on Topanga Canyon Boulevard, just north of Pacific Coast Highway, about 12:20 p.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer Christian Cracraft.

Malibu city spokesman Brad Davis urged motorists to be extra vigilant in light of the possibility of more falling rocks or debris.

As of mid-afternoon, no roads in the city had been closed, authorities said.
