Biography: Corporate counsel for AT&T and Chair of the AT&T Legal Department’s West Region Pro Bono Committee; Prior employment includes prosecution of civil rights violations as a Trial Attorney in the Civil Rights Division in the United States Department of Justice and partnership in the law firm of Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp.

Spouse/Children: Married 18 years to John Prindle. We have one son-Jackson.

Community activities: Former Co-chair Santa Monicans for Renters’ Rights; Former Board member-WISE Senior Services; Active in PTA; Former Steering Committee member-Community for Excellent Public Schools (CEPS); Helped found LEAD (Leadership, Effectiveness, Accountability, Direction for Santa Monica-Malibu Public Schools).

Candidate Statement:“Since joining the City Council in 2009, I’ve worked to preserve affordable housing and livable neighborhoods that provide a safe and stable community for all residents, especially children and seniors. I am a 26-year resident of Santa Monica and live with my husband and 13-year old son. I was educated at USC and Harvard Law School. As your Councilmember, I will focus on:

•Developing more open space and recreational facilities

•Building a modern and robust local economy

•Expanding educational opportunities for all

•Working for the well-being of seniors

•Decreasing the number of homeless individuals and families

•Increasing opportunities for youth

•Promoting a pedestrian and bike friendly Santa Monica
