3.2 Magnitude Earthquake Felt Across Santa Monica, Westside:

An earthquake struck near Marina del Rey on Friday

A preliminary 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck two miles southeast of Marina Del Rey at 7:52 pm Friday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was recorded at a depth of 8 miles.

The earthquake has been reported as being felt in Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Studio City.

The Los Angeles Fire Department tweeted that the “LAFD is in a *normal* operating mode” following the earthquake.
