Santa Monica’s PK Wellness Combines Tech & Training For Fat Loss Triumph:

State of the art fat-busting tech is now on offer in Santa Monica. PK Wellness has made the move to mix i-Lipo with fitness training, a combination that is giving their clients great results.

The idea for PK Wellness Studio started in 2014 when the owners began hearing about the success of i-Lipo, a non-surgical fat reduction and body contouring technique. They decided to put the machine to the test, alongside more traditional training methods.

“Independent clinical studies have shown i-Lipo to be completely safe with no side effects,” explained owner Victor King. “The laser simply triggers a natural reduction of fat cell release. The process does not cause any damage and cells remain intact, just smaller, giving immediate results.”

Joining forces with Dr. Jack Pirroz, 20-year personal training and martial-arts instructor King felt that by combining that latest in technology and offering fitness training in the same facility it would enhance the benefits of both i-Lipo and working out, whether the goal was to kick-start fat reduction with i-Lipo or to get rid of the stubborn extra fat that exercise alone was not doing.

“Our idea proved to be correct,” King said. “In six months, we have noticed our clients dropping weight and inches three times faster when we combine our exercise with i-Lipo treatments.”

“I have to buy a new wardrobe to keep up with the results I got from Victor King at the PK Wellness Studio,” said client Kalani. “The best results by far.”

I-Lipo is also FDA cleared, King said.

“We did a lot of research on the machine and talked to people who had used it and were impressed with what we saw. We are big believers in fitness for both weight loss and general overall health benefits,” he added.

King has been a business owner in Santa Monica for more than 15 years and has trained a myriad of clients from A-list celebrities to business people and stay-at-home moms.

With today’s pace of life often limiting people’s availability to workout, PK Wellness aims at maximizing results in the least amount of time.

“We feel that i-Lipo and working out are great compliments to each other,” King said.

“Some people want that kick-start to really get their fat reduction going and i-Lipo is great for that; however, we feel it is even more effective when combined with working out so we wanted to make it as convenient as possible,” he explained.

The system has also proven effective on those who workout but can’t seem to lose that last bit of stubborn fat.

“I-Lipo is a safe, simple and non-surgical way to help get the body contouring that exercise alone can’t do,” King said.

PK Wellness offers a variety of fitness classes to compliment i-Lipo, from martial arts to TRX to yoga, as well as personal training.

TRX is suspension training used by Navy Seals and provides a high intensity workout, leaving great results. Martial Arts and kickboxing are also ideal for achieving fast results, according to King.

Whether clients are looking at starting their weight-loss regime or contouring their bodies, King said that PK Wellness takes an individual approach to all clients, assessing personal goals and needs.

“Exercise and weight loss are a lifelong commitment but both can be done with simple steps every day,” King said.

“Cardio workouts such as kickboxing and martial arts can really jump start weight loss and keep your heart healthy. Other types of workouts such as TRX really help build muscles, tone and shape and are good compliments to cardio. Of course, simple choices such as taking the stairs or choosing fruit instead of sweets also add up,” he said.

PK Wellness is located at 2110 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica.
