Santa Monica bar Copa d’Oro will host a Pajama Party for its first Friday theme night party, which will be held Oct. 4 from 5:30 pm until closing.
This bar, located at 217 Broadway, will also be accepting donations of new, packaged kids’ pajamas for the juvenile residents of Upward Bound House whose aim is to eliminate homelessness among families with children.
Copa d’Oro general manager Hector Bury said its first Friday theme nights had become extremely popular.
“When we tossed around the idea of having a pajama party, we wanted to do something where our guests would not only have a great time but feel good about doing something special for someone else like the wonderful kids at Upward Bound House,” Bury said.
Copa d’Oro hopes to collect at least 80 pairs of new pajamas. Santa Monica-based Upward Bound House provides in-need families with children housing, supportive services and advocacy.
October’s First Friday Theme Night at Copa d’Oro will be abuzz as usual only with a more relaxed dress code. Guests can enjoy Copa d’Oro’s Signature Market Cocktail Menu featuring fresh organic-driven produce.
As a bonus, guests donning pajamas will enjoy their first cocktail courtesy of Copa d’Oro.
Copa d’Oro is open Monday-Wednesday from 5:30 pm to midnight and until 2 am Thursday through Saturday.
