Santa Monica Alternative School House’s Carnival Raises $30,000: SuperSMASH Full of School House Fun

Students brush up on their art skills at the Paint My Ride attraction during Santa Monica Alternative Schoolhouse's SuperSMASH '11

The Santa Monica Alternative School House brought in students and alumni for delicious food, music, arts and crafts and carnival games for their annual SuperSMASH event.

The carnival was SMASH’s annual fundraiser to help support the school’s finances not paid for by the school district, such as copy machines, scholarships and the arts program.

Children rode on water slides, made candles and threw tennis balls to drench their teachers.

SuperSMASH raised over $30,000 for the school.
